Milling & Resurfacing
Profile Mill · Overlay · Restore
When pavement has surface failures but the base is still solid, milling and overlay restores it to like-new at a fraction of reconstruction cost.
What It Is.
Why It Matters.
Milling removes the failed top 1.5–4" of asphalt with a rotary cutter, exposing sound base. We then sweep, tack-coat, and lay a fresh asphalt overlay compacted to spec.
This is the right move when you have rutting, raveling, or surface cracking but the base hasn't failed. It maintains existing grade and drainage — no curb height changes, no transition ramps.
Where We Use It.
Highway Overlays
DOT-spec mill-and-fill for state and federal corridors.
Parking Lot Resurfacing
Most cost-effective restoration when overlay alone would create curb-height issues.
Bridge Decks
Profile milling and overlay for bridge approaches and decks.
Airport Taxiways
FAA-compliant resurfacing during night windows.
Distribution Centers
Restoring industrial yards without disrupting truck operations.
Municipal Roads
Cost-effective alternative to full reconstruction for city streets.

REQUEST QUOTEHow deep do you mill?+
Typically 1.5–2" for surface restoration, up to 4" for structural overlays. Highway projects may go deeper.
Why mill instead of just overlay?+
Pure overlay raises the surface — your curbs get shorter, water flows wrong, doors don't clear. Milling maintains grade.
What about the millings?+
We haul them off and recycle (RAP — reclaimed asphalt pavement). On request we can leave material for your own use as base.
Can you work nights?+
Yes — most of our highway and high-traffic commercial milling happens in night windows to avoid disruption.
Do you service my area?+
Yes — we operate in all 50 states. If you have a ZIP code, we have a crew.
How fast can you start?+
Standard projects mobilize in 5–10 business days after estimate approval. Emergency work dispatches same day.
Are quotes free?+
Always. No charge, no obligation, no high-pressure sales.
Do you handle permits?+
Yes. Permit pulling, traffic control plans, and municipal coordination are included in our scope.
